TeMeDa’s Binary sensor detection and reporting is configured to quickly and easily report the state of critical assets and support components in your fleet.

Sensor Enablement Process

  1. A customer will request a sensor set in their account
  2. TeMeDa Operations will configure the back-end systems to support the sensor request
  3. An installer connects the sensors
    1. In this example we will cover a sensor that is set up to detect if a trailer door in open or closed.
  4. We recommend that the Installer document the following data:
    1. Sensor Type
      1. In this example it’s a Binary
    2. System Name
      1. Trailer Door
    3. System Description

    6. Active State Name
      1. Active State = “Open”
    7. Active State Description
      1. Trailer Door is open
    8. This data should be sent to TeMeDa, so we can complete the sensor enablement process.
    9. The sensor set up and configuration is now complete.
